Prepare/ Enrich Couples Workshop

This group is designed for couples at all stages of their relationship to improve and enhance their couple bond, relationship skills, and understanding of themselves and their relationship.

Prepare/Enrich is one of the most widely researched and utilized assessment tools for identifying couple strengths and growth areas with more than 4,000,000 couples having prepared for marriage or enriched their relationship through the Prepare/Enrich assessment and working with a Certified Facilitator.

Whether you’ve been together for 1 year or 50 years, Prepare/Enrich will help to provide a customized and comprehensive view of the relationship with an emphasis on strengths and growth areas. The objective assessment results serve to create a clear understanding of yourself and your relationship and prime you for conversations and skill building to strengthen your relationship foundation.

While the assessment alone has been shown to improve relationship satisfaction, there is opportunity for more extraordinary growth working together with a Facilitator and participating in the 8-session workshop model.  The first four weeks focus on covering core goals to relationship satisfaction and the last four exploring specific challenges couples face.

Together we can learn, grow, and enhance our relationship through building confidence, insight, and skills.

Flourishing Families

This group is for young children struggling to manage their big feelings and behavior. Kids learn skills to calm down, identify and share their feelings, and work on social skills and communication, all in the context of a fun group with same-age kids. Parents simultaneously gain strategies for managing challenging behavior and how to support their children in using the skills they are learning. The group takes place once a week for 90 minutes for 8 weeks. This group will be facilitated by Kym Spring Thompson, PsyD, IMHM, Jaimelyn Roets, LCSW and Sandra Macharia MSc, our Advance Doctoral Student.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Group

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Group

Jaimelyn Roets, LCSW will be leading our Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) group, which is designed to teach kids, teens, and parents skills to manage their anxiety. CBT continues to be the gold-standard treatment for anxiety. As opposed to individual therapy, our groups offer unique perspectives and support from other families that promote connectedness and increase motivation for treatment. This group runs on Thursdays afternoons for eight consecutive weeks and is held in person at Flourish Psychology and is co-facilitated by Meggean Boisvert, LCSW.

The first four weeks of the group are spent building skills, including feeling identification, emotion regulation, relaxation strategies, social skill building, thinking realistically, and problem-solving. The last four weeks are spent practicing these skills as they relate to your child's specific needs through Exposure and Response Prevention.

Ages for this group range from 8 to 18 years old, and groups are broken into older and younger participants. We keep our groups smaller so each family can address their child's individual needs.

If you have additional questions or would like to sign-up, contact Jaimelyn Roets.
